Bryant grew up in a Christian family and in excellent churches under excellent pastoral leadership. He walked an aisle to come to Christ for salvation at the age of seven. However, he still lived much like the world, with little desire for Christ, from twelve to twenty-four years of age. A friend invited him to attend church in Mt. Pleasant while he was living in Charleston. It was at that church where he believes he was truly saved, due to authentic repentance and a Biblical change of heart. Soon after his salvation, he began feeling the Lord calling him to seminary. Bryant graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas with a Masters in Divinity in December of 2017. He also graduated from the Citadel with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Science October 2010.
Bryant served as Lead Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church in Hartsville, SC from September 2018 until March 2023. He began serving at Central on April 3, 2023. Bryant's grandparents were long time members of Central and are remembered fondly. He and his family attended Central years ago, so this is a homecoming for him.
His hobbies include reading, writing, hunting, fishing, walking, spending time with his family, and grilling. His favorite verse is 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth."
He is married to Sarah, and they have a daughter named Claire and a son named Hunter.
