Rev. Tim Coker, Senior Pastor

Pastor Tim celebrated 25 years as the Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church in October of 2020.  He and his wife, Donna, both grew up in South Carolina and have served churches  in Lynchburg and Marion.  The Cokers have two children, Christopher and Ashton.

Tim received his undergraduate degree from Francis  Marion University in Florence and a Masters of Divinity Degree with  languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest,  NC. 

Tim’s other interests include reading, golfing and traveling with his wife as well as preaching and teaching God's Word.   Tim's love for the Lord shows in his ministry as he  works with people of all ages. His strength is in small groups and  leadership training.
